IMPORTANT PATIENT NOTICE

REPEAT PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED FROM PHARMACIES

FROM 02/01/2018

This refers to PHARMACY MANAGED REPEAT SERVICES (Pharmacies ordering medication on patient's behalf) 

From Tuesday the 2nd of January 2018 the Practice will be changing to the previous system where requests for repeat prescriptions MUST be made by the patient via the practice. Your preferred pharmacy will still be able to collect your prescription from the surgery on your behalf. 

THIS CHANGE COMES INTO EFFECT ON THE 2nd OF JANUARY 2018

How to register for online Prescriptions & Appointments

To use this facility patients must register for internet access.  You need to complete an Internet Access Registration Request form by printing off the form below and bringing the completed form into surgery along with one form of photo ID.  After acceptance your pin number, practice number, access id and nhs number will be emailed to you.

Repeat Prescriptionsgreen_pill_spill

Patients on long term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:

  • In Person - Drop your repeat slip in the box provided at reception.
  • Online - Follow the link at the top of this page, (you will need to be registered to use this service).  Once registered you will be able to order repeat medication only. 

In exceptional circumstances where this is agreed by the Practice:

  • By Telephone - please call after 12:00 (Housebound Patients only)

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.

 

Please allow two full working days between requesting and collecting your prescription.
